I'm impressed by the new portfolio maker made possible by DA. I got started on mine last night, but it needs some more finishing touches. It feels weird because I don't have very many "accomplishments" or "awards" yet so I'm ambivalent about even bothering to include them (although I know I should).

I am shooting a wedding for August 8th, for a friend of mine. However, I'm being paid by the bride's step-father whom I've never met, and after negotiations he has agreed to pay me $300+gratuity. Yay! I'm kinda nervous about it because I'm doing both film and digital and I agreed to make a photo album as part of the presentation. I wonder if every artist tells themselves frequently that they aren't good enough. Cuz I sure as hell do.

Registration for next semester is aggravating. All the art classes and photography classes I wanted to take are full. Fuck.

I'm in love and for some reason this has inspired little in the realm of writing...perhaps because it's not unrequited love for the first frickin' time in my life. Yay! I'm going to Chicago again tomorrow to see my beau!

Sorry for the randomness and all, but I felt I should update this thing every so many months. I thought about just starting over and making a new DA account seeing as my activity with watchers has slowed down to a crawl. Oh well...
